Tianneng Battery produces both cylindrical and pouch cell with NCM and LFP technology. From material research to cell production, Tianneng Battery takes every step with strict simulation and configuration to secure the heart of the power you needed. Above that, the lithium-ion cell boasts other excellent performance, like high energy density, long cycle life, outstanding high and low-temperature performance, great consistency, etc. In particular, the NCM cells are highly suited for electric vehicles, with a high energy density of up to 200Wh/kg and a long lifespan of a maximum of 1500 cycles@100%DOD. The LFP cells are capable of reach 10C continuous discharge current, which is a perfect match for UPS, telecom and energy storage applications. Besides battery performance, Tianneng Battery has a 5GWh production capacity for power lithium battery, which means at least 1 million cells can be produced every day, and after we cooperated with SAFT, a company of total, the production will continue to expand up to 18GWh to ensure stable delivery for global customers.

How To Charge Lithium Cell?

With the development of science and technology, now lithium-ion batteries have gradually become the mainstream in the industry. But what is the correct way to charge a lithium-ion battery cell?


  • The charging for new Li-ion cells

As the lithium cell will enter the hibernation state if it is not used for a long time, the capacity of the battery will be lower than the normal value under this circumstance, and the use time of the cell will also be shortened. Therefore, it is necessary to activate the lithium-ion battery cells before the first use. The activation method of a lithium-ion rechargeable battery cell is very simple. The 3-5 times of normal charge and discharge process can activate the cell and restore its normal capacity.



  • The recharging of Li-ion cells

The life of a lithium-ion rechargeable cell is independent of the number of charges and discharges. It has no memory effects. That is to say, no matter how you charge the lithium-ion rechargeable cell, it will not affect the number of charge cycles. The safe operating voltage range of lithium cell batteries is 2.8 to 4.2V. Below or above this voltage range, the lithium ions in the cell will become unstable. Thus, to ensure that the lithium-ion rechargeable cell is working in a safe range, it is better to use the special chargers specifically designed for the lithium power cells. The chargers for rechargeable lithium cells can automatically adjust the charging mode based on the current state of the battery. And as for the lithium cell batteries that are not used for a long time, they should be stored in a cool and dry place in a semi-electric state. If the battery is stored with a full charge, it will be damaged. If the lithium battery cells for sale are stored without power, they may get destroyed and lose their basic function. During the storage process, it is better to complete a charging cycle every 3 to 6 months, so as to further conduct a power calibration.
