New Opportunities for Energy Storage in Mexico

As the application of new energy sources continues to grow, Mexico’s energy storage market is gradually generating new demand. From residential energy management to energy optimization in commercial and industrial settings, and on to large-scale energy storage projects, different scenarios place varying demands on the capacity, performance, and system solutions of energy storage products.


Tianneng showcased its residential, commercial and industrial, and large-capacity energy storage products and solutions, engaging in in-depth discussions with customers and partners from Mexico and Latin America to gain a deeper understanding of local market needs.



Exploring Energy Storage Applications Across Different Scenarios


In 2026, as Mexico’s energy storage regulatory framework gradually takes shape, energy storage is expanding from single-user applications to commercial and industrial settings and larger-scale power system applications.


At this exhibition, Tianneng showcased a multi-tiered product portfolio covering residential, commercial and industrial, and large-capacity energy storage, demonstrating products and solutions tailored to various application scenarios.


Among these, the TNPOWER 261kWh commercial and industrial liquid-cooled all-in-one energy storage cabinet was a major highlight at the booth. Designed for commercial and industrial settings such as factories, commercial complexes, farms, and solar carports, the product integrates core systems—including batteries, PCS, BMS, liquid cooling, fire protection, and EMS—into a single cabinet. This not only enhances system integration but also simplifies installation, deployment, and ongoing operation and maintenance.

The system is equipped with TNPOWER’s in-house developed and manufactured 314Ah lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells. It utilizes liquid-cooling temperature control technology to maintain a temperature difference of less than 3°C among the cells and features dual-stage fire protection and IP54 protection, ensuring both system safety and long-term stable operation. Additionally, it supports grid-connected and off-grid operation, as well as remote monitoring via a 4G cloud platform, meeting the operational and management needs of various commercial and industrial projects.


To address the application needs of projects across different regions in Mexico, the product supports dual voltages (440V/480V) and frequency switching (50/60 Hz), enabling flexible adaptation to local grid environments. It also supports operation at altitudes of up to 4,000 meters, meeting the energy storage needs of Mexico’s highland regions.

In response to the growing demand for utility-scale energy storage, Tianneng simultaneously showcased its 5MWh-class large-capacity energy storage products. As Mexico’s energy storage policies become more clearly defined, and as the power system’s demand for renewable energy integration, system flexibility, and energy storage capacity increases, large-capacity energy storage is also becoming a key focus of market attention.


From residential and commercial/industrial applications to large-capacity energy storage, Tianneng covers a wide range of application scales through its multi-tiered product portfolio. By taking into account the grid conditions and application environments of different markets, the company continues to advance the localization and adaptation of its energy storage products.
