Made in Vietnam Takes Another Step Forward: Tianneng Vietnam Factory Phase II Base Officially Commences Operations
On December 13, 2025,Tianneng Vietnam Factory Phase II project of Tianneng Group's Hoang Mai Base in Vietnam officially commenced operations, coinciding with the Asia-Pacific Partners Conference. The launch of this project marks a new stage in Tianneng's industrial layout in Vietnam and further solidifies the foundation for its global and regional collaborative development.

Mr. Bui Thanh An, Standing Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and Member of the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, along with representatives from the political and business communities of China and Vietnam, attended the event to witness this significant progress in Tianneng's new energy industry chain layout in Vietnam.
The Hoang Mai Base is Tianneng's second production base in Vietnam, forming a synergistic layout with the previously operational Vinh City factory. With the of the Phase II project, Tianneng's business model in Vietnam has upgraded from single production to large-scale manufacturing and systematic operations, further enhancing the group's manufacturing support capabilities and localized service levels in the Asia-Pacific region. The base will cover products such as power batteries and UPS energy storage, providing more stable and efficient supply assurance for the Southeast Asian market.

Since entering the Vietnamese market in 2010, Tianneng has continuously advanced its localized development, gradually building a regional operational system covering production, supply, and services. With the operation of the Hoang Mai Base, Vietnam's strategic position in Tianneng's global layout has become even more prominent, serving as an important manufacturing and collaborative hub for the Asia-Pacific market.
Tianneng's investment projects in Vietnam have garnered attention from the Vietnamese government. In June 2023, during his visit to China, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Tianneng Battery Group Chairman Zhang Tianren to discuss the progress of the project. In February 2025, Tianneng was once again invited to participate in and speak at a symposium chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. These two meetings fully reflect the significance of this project in driving Vietnam's new energy industry chain, technology, and employment amid the global energy transition.

During the Asia-Pacific Partners Conference, Tianneng introduced its latest advancements in diversified technological pathways and intelligent manufacturing. Currently, the group has established a technological system encompassing lead-acid, lithium, hydrogen, sodium, and solid-state batteries. The Hoang Mai Base will also be fully integrated into Tianneng's global intelligent management system, enhancing production transparency, supply chain collaboration efficiency, and regional service response capabilities, making it a key node in its global manufacturing network.
As a leading enterprise in the new energy battery industry, Tianneng actively seizes opportunities in both domestic and international markets to promote high-quality and sustainable corporate development. In the domestic market, it enhances product added value through technological innovation, meets the demands of industrial and consumption upgrades, and consolidates its advantages in fields such as new energy and energy storage. At the same time, it actively participates in the dual circulation of domestic and international markets, leverages China's super-large market advantages, strengthens the resilience of the industry and supply chains, mitigates risks arising from changes in the international economic and trade landscape, and enhances international competitiveness.

Against the backdrop of deepening economic and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam, with clean energy identified as a key direction for collaboration, the launch of the Hoang Mai Base is a concrete manifestation of Tianneng's ongoing global strategy and injects new momentum into China-Vietnam cooperation in the new energy industry. Starting from Huzhou, Zhejiang, China, Tianneng continues to expand its international footprint. In the future, Tianneng will leverage Vietnam as a crucial strategic pivot, continuously advance technological innovation and green manufacturing, and collaborate with global partners to jointly promote the sustainable development of the new energy industry.
